He is survived by : his wife Linda Turner McClain; his children, John Paul McClain of Blacksburg, Glinda Derrick (Gene) of Blacksburg and Kelly Allen (Phillip) of Grover; and his grandchildren, Justice Varnadore of Iowa, Hannah Allen (Trevor) of Shelby, Hope, Elijah Allen of Grover, Turner, Serenity and Paisley Derrick of Cherokee Falls.
