She was predeceased by: her husband James King Painter Sr. (Jimmy); her nephew Jeff Mullinax (Brittany Bolton); and her brother Ernest Spearman Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Tena S Mullinax; her daughter-in-law Kimberly Painter (Joseph Trask) of Blacksburg; her nephews, Jrake Mullinax of Blacksburg and Gary Shull (Cindy) of Fallston, NC; and her son Joseph. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews, the children.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the White Columns Funeral Service (102 N Rutherford St, Blacksburg, SC 29702). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Iron City Church (179 Corry Rd, Blacksburg, SC 29702).
