He is survived by: his children, Larry Ray Broome Jr. and Lisa Dionne Broome; his sisters, Lola Cockman, Shirley Hance and Charlene Harwick; his grandsons, John Turner (Nikki), Justin Coleman and Tyler Coleman (Makayla); and his close friends, Derrick "Booper" Wilson, Mitch Clark, Ruth Yarborough, Tami Casselman and Sheila Gunn.
