She was predeceased by: her spouse Chris Merrell; her parents, Lewis Reep and Gertha Reep; and her children, Connell Merrell, Benjamin Merrell, Robert Humphries and Corrine Merrell Chandler.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Merrell of Blacksburg, Michael Merrell (Katie) of Blacksburg, Brenda O'Shields (Jimmy) of Anderson, Bobbie Corry (Shawn) of Blacksburg and Billie Duff (Eddie) of Gaffney'; and her siblings, Charles Reep of Mooresville, NC and Virginia Sanchez of Brownsville, TX.. She is also survived by Seventeen Grandchildren, Twelve Great-Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild.
