He is survived by: his children, Joseph Wagenknecht and Megan Storm Wagenknecht (Tyler); his siblings, Frank Matuska Jr., Teena Peeler, Helen Powell (David), Evelyn Matuska and Kelley Nash (Todd); his grandchild Xain Dycus; his close friend Carla Beaver; his nephew Randy Michael Wagenknecht; and his great-niece Amber Wagenknecht.
A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gordon Mortuary (400 W Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702).
