He was predeceased by: his son Todd Starnes; and his siblings, Bobby Starnes, Mildred McDaniel, Lillian Manning, Brenda Cole, Martha Clark and Minnie Pettit.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Starnes; his son Justin Starnes (Kacy); his daughter-in-law Kim Starnes; his granddaughters, Leanne Benton (Billy), Samantha Starnes, Abigail Starnes and Brynlee Starnes; his great grandchildren, Rhett Benton and Addison Hill; and his brother Zeb Starnes (Virginia).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Broad River Baptist Church (419 W Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
