With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vickie Wright of Blacksburg, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let us carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Vickie may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Herbert Wright; her parents, Billy Childers and Dorothy Moss Childers; her son Terry Wright of Blacksburg; and her grandchildren, TJ Wright, Faith Wright and Raider Wright.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gordon Mortuary (400 W Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Frederick Memorial Gardens (986 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341).
