He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Floyd Gwin and Barbara Jean Mahaffey; and his sister Mary Beth Gwin Gunter. He is survived by: his wife Jada Carter Gwin; his children, Charles K. Gwin, Jr. of Chester, SC, Casey E. Gwin of Blackstock, SC, Kevin T. Gwin of Blackstock, SC and Joshua "Gage" Gwin of Spartanburg, SC; his grandchildren, Callie, Claire, Macie, Levi and Melody; his great grandchild Athena; his sister Sarah Lea McLean of Blackstock, SC; his niece Samantha; and his nephew Cory.
In lieu of flowers, at the request of Kevin memorials are to be discussed with Jada and Casey Gwin.
