He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Boyd Stroud; his children, William Justin "Will" Stroud (Nicole) of Ridgeway, SC and Samantha Josephine "Josie" Stroud Starkey (Preston) of Lancaster, SC; his grandchildren, Khloe Hayes, Karlei Starkey, Brooks Stroud and Sailor Starkey; and his siblings, Dan Stroud (Debbie), Susan Moser, Sandy Lindsey (Sonny) and Becky Andrade. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
