He is survived by : his wife Janice Whitehead Owens; his daughter Lizanne Bonnett; his grandchildren, Clayton, Colton Boyles of Gilmore, Peyton Owens, Elizabeth, Jeremy and Ava Owens; and his siblings, Gene Owens (Betty) of Blackville, SC, Joe Owens of Orangeburg, Ernestine O. "Sis" Harriot, Franklin Owens, Oscar Owens and Bobby Owens.
