With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glennon Wade (Blackville, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2026 at the age of 85. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Glennon may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Wade Sr. and Lillian Abestene Wade; his wife Cecile Morse Wade; and his brothers, Willis Preston Wade and Clayton "Buddy" Wade.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Wade (Marie) of White House, Tennessee and Linda Russell (J. D.) of Castalian Springs, Tennessee.; his children, Donald A. Wade (Susi) and Jerry G. Young (Lisa); his stepdaughter Elizabeth Cravens (Eddie); and his grandson Patrick Young.
