It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Morris of Blackville, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Reginald Buist Morris and Myrtle Haskell Morris; and his sisters, Patricia Dicks, Gloria Frazier and Joy Robison.

He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Sue Rush Morris; his children, Kim Joann Walters, Tina Marie Forde (Jon), Kevin Mark Walters and Tracy Lee Walters (Courtney); and his brother Wayne Allen Morris (Jean). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

The family suggest that memorials be made to the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 10574 Hwy 3, Blackville, SC 29817.
