He is survived by : his wife Ruby Joyce Fields Mitchell; his sons, John Mitchell of Blackville, SC, Steven Mitchell of Blackville, SC, Ben Mitchell of Blackville, SC and Andy Mitchell of Blackville, SC; his sisters, Lore Chavis of Barnwell, SC, Maggie Williams (John) of White Pond, SC and Daisy Tuten of Aiken, SC; and his brother-in-law Wayne Robinson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
