It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Monroe Lott of Blackville, South Carolina, who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Tillman Lott and Inez Martin Lott; his great grandchild Lila Lott; and his siblings, Mildred Tuttle, Claude Lott, Harold Lott and Hammond Lott.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Thacker Lott; his children, Maurica Still (Herman), Wanda Lott and Joseph M. Lott, Jr. (Caroline); his grandchildren, Cassie Still (Ryan Mooney), Joseph (Brittany), Brittany Bolen (Josh), Kyle Shore and Kelcee Lott; and his great grandchildren, Liam Bolen, Ellison Lott, Tillman Bolen and Cash Lott. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blackville First Baptist Church (19449 Solomon Blatt Ave, Blackville, SC 29817). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
