It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Smitty Kemmerlin of Blackville, South Carolina, who passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Samuel Kemmerlin, II and Betty Smith Kemmerlin; his siblings, Dewey Samuel Kemmerlin, III, Pam Teasley and Tammy Griffith; and his sister-in-law Sharon Gifford.
He is survived by: his wife Melanie Kemmerlin; his son Coley Kemmerlin (Taylor) of Blackville, SC; his grandchildren, Cooper Smith Kemmerlin, Spencer William Kemmerlin and Tateyn Hayes Kemmerlin; his sisters, Eva Keezel and Betty Lois Kemmerlin; and his brother-in-law Gregory O'Neal Hutto. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
