He was predeceased by : his parents, George Hofmann and Eliesabetta Hofmann (Zink); and his former life partner Frandeleine. He is survived by : his wife Cathryn Haverly Hofmann of Bluffton, SC; his children, Erik Hofmann of Marysville, WA and Kristin Wallace (Jace) of Cambridge Springs, PA; his grandchildren, Laura Wallace and Meredith Wallace; and his sister Barbara Katsoff of Yonkers, NY..
