He was predeceased by: his father Andrew John Tuney Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Anita Tuney of Bluffton; his son Matthew Boyd Tuney (Kim Tuney) of Myrtle Beach, SC; his grandson Jack Sydney Tuney; his daughter Jaclyn Boyd Barker (Bryan Barker); his grandchildren, William Boyd Barker (Bo) and Brooke Paisley Barker; his mother Joan Tuney; his siblings, Russ Tuney, Andrea Holbrook, Jeanne Elliot and Barbara Viera; and his uncle Jack. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton (90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton, SC 29910). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sauls Funeral Home (90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton, SC 29910).
