He was predeceased by: his father Don Wiley Wilkes; his brother Greg Evan Wilkes; and his grandparents, John Wiley Wilkes, Myrtice McGuirt, Otis and Hazel McNeely.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his mother Linda McNeely Guadagno; his stepfather Tony Guadagno; his siblings, Vicki Caraway (John) and Michael Wilkes (Leigh); his stepsister Ann-Marie Guadagno (Travis); Justin Wilkes (Kristy), Robbie Wilkes (Jessica), Thomas Wilkes (Taylor), DJ Wilkes (Madison), Tina Parrish (Ashley) and Daniel Adams (Katie). He is also survived by his grandchildren, and nieces.
In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made in Chris' honor to the National Diabetes Association or National Kidney Foundation.
