We bid farewell to Donald Michael Hackbert of Bluffton, South Carolina, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 2, 2025 at the age of 92. Donald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Hackbert and Ruth Hackbert; his daughter Joyce Elayne; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Sherele Glenn; his children, Michael Hackbert (Jean) of Sun City, AZ, Ginny Hackbert of Bluffton, SC and Judy Albright (Tom) of New Cumberland, PA; his brother Kenneth Hackbert; his grandchildren, Matthew Hackbert, Abby Dunphy, Lauren Albright Brobeck, Jeremy Albright, Emily Albright and Shannon Albright; and his great grandchildren, Patrick, Madison, Elianna, Emerson and Charlie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton (90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton, SC 29910). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
