It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lee Simpson of Bluffton, South Carolina, who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn H Simpson. He is survived by: his father James B Simpson; his wife Grace; his brother Tony Simpson (Cindy); his siblings-in-law, Loretta Haste, Pat Chastonay (Dick) and Dennis Lynch (Debbie); and his sibling's children, Debbie Davis, Donna Sullivan, Abigail Lynch (Eric), Nora Krasowski (Paul), Ashleigh Schmidt (Eric), Annie Lynch, Kevin Chastonay and Jordan Simpson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton (90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton, SC 29910). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church (31 St Gregory Dr, Bluffton, SC 29910).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (http://www.cholangiocarcinoma.org) or Food for the Poor (http://www.foodforthepoor.org).
