We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2024, at the age of 74, George S. Shock Jr. of Bluffton, South Carolina, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George S. Shock Sr. and Catherine Shock (Schwilm); and his brother Tim Shock. He is survived by : his wife Lorraine Shock; his children, Sean Shock, Jamie Shock, Candice Tulangow and Erik Sorensen; his grandchildren, Christiana Shock, Ninah Tulangow, Kaitlyn Tulangow, Aleeyah Pozo, Maximilian Shock, Jamie Shock II and Jax Sorensen; and his siblings, Terri Medvetz, Vianne Shope, Larry Shock Sr., Nora Wegener, Mary Williams, Sam Shock, Ed Shock, Rose Langham and Eileen Shock. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease or to the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 351 Buckwalter Parkway, Bluffton, SC 29910, in George's memory.
