He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth and Joyce (Taylor) of Louth; and his stepdaughter Teresa Blevins (Bunkley). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Platt Codd; his stepdaughter Colette Wehunt (Wade); and his sister Shirley Tordoff. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

Remembrances may be made to Maye River Baptist Church or Palmetto Animal League.
