He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Schoeplein and Mary Mangan Schoeplein of Rocky River, Ohio.; and his brothers, Chuck and Jim. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Schoeplein (Brandewie); his children, Stacie Clayton (Jack Negro), Molly Ziegler (Jeff), Chris Schoeplein (Tami), Ashley Gagnon (Adam) and Matt Schoeplein (Brittany); his grandchildren, Reagan, Oliver, Zoe Clayton, Olivia, Elena, Isaac, Colette Ziegler, Henry, Clara, Grace Schoeplein, Shep, Prudence Gagnon and Wolfgang Schoeplein; and his siblings, Karen and Don.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bradley University, Bluffton Self-Help, or OSF Healthcare, organizations Kevin felt deeply passionate about.
