It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurence Dorset Fitzmaurice of Bluffton, South Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann Fitzmaurice (McQuaid); his children, Laura Fitzmaurice Ramel of Bluffton, SC, Peter Dorset Fitzmaurice and Meghan Fitzmaurice Dolan; and his grandchildren, Breandan, Erin, Meghan Fitzmaurice, Justin and Kristen Ramel. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews and seven great grandchildren.
