She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph L. Smith and Anna Sheridan Smith; her husband Frank DeCocco; and her sister Anne Stryeski. She is survived by: her children, Michael DeCocco (Anne) of Castle Hayne, NC, Donna Bonura (John) of Bluffton and Maryann Maykowski (Steve) of Charlotte, NC; her brother Joseph L. Smith (Carole) of Spring Lake, NJ; and her grandchildren, Christopher DeCocco (Stacey), Sarah DeCocco (Diego Delgado), Jessica Kolesnik (Michael), Johnny Bonura (Megan) and Matthew Maykowski. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church (31 St Gregory Dr, Bluffton, SC 29910). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
