We are sad to announce that, on August 7, 2025, at the age of 87, Mary Louise MacNeill of Bluffton, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Benoit and Mary Catherine Benoit; her brother Donald Bennett; and the father of her children William Horan. She is survived by: her husband Arthur E. MacNeill; her children, Carolyn McCarthy (Michael), David Horan (Jennifer) and Stephen Horan; her stepchildren, Wendy (Bob), Stephanie, Liz and John; her grandchildren, Kerri, Meagan, Matthew, Allison, Jillian, Abigail, Ella and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Kore and Julie; and her stepgrandchildren, Anna, Michael, Jack, Jameson and Grace.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mary Lou's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org), a cause close to her heart and one she supported faithfully for many years.
