With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew James Chapman of Bluffton, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 23, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Chapman and Loretta Chapman; and his significant other Penny. He is survived by: his granddaughters, Piper and Tenley; his brother Dave; his son Chris (Rhonda) of Shaker Heights; his siblings-in-law, Dwight and Jeanne; and his sibling's children, Lori, Jennifer, Brooks, Kyle, Shane and Reese.
