He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Fischer (Bomba) and Robert Daniel Fischer; and his brother Edward Fischer. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carol Fischer; his children, Michael, Andrew Biscamp and Carolyne Stephanie Rao; his son-in-law Frank Rao; and his grandsons, Vincent and Jake Rao.
