In loving memory of Susan K. Pierson of Bluffton, South Carolina, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on January 9, 2026 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Elizabeth Bowers and Lester James Bowers; her brother James Richard Bowers; and her siblings-in-law, Diana Fobian Bowers and Dr. Richard Mauro.

She is survived by: her husband Jesse David Pierson III; her children, Jill Pietrocini (Jeremy) and Jeffrey Pierson (Carrie); her grandchildren, Joseph Pietrocini (Payton), Emma Pietrocini (Weston Lewis), Jack Pierson and Benton Pierson; her sister Barbara Hults (Richard); and her sister-in-law Deborah Mauro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cross Schools in Susan's honor.
