It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Mitchell McDonald of Bluffton, South Carolina, born in Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his son Colton Sands McDonald. He is survived by : his wife Simone Griffeth McDonald; his children, Suzanna Rose McDonald, Savannah Dawn Foster and Joseph Ridge McDonald (Holly); his grandson John Cassian West McDonald; his close friend John Dial; and his pet Chow.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton (90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton, SC 29910). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:45 PM at the Lowcountry Memorial Gardens (90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton, SC 29910).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children, to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, or the Veteran's charity of your choice.
