He is survived by: his wife Edna S. Young; his children, Candice Carter of Blythewood, SC and Kirby Carter (Tawana) of Columbia, SC; and his grandchildren, Christian Evans, Kameron Carter, Tatianna Martin and Josh Carter. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law; a host of nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and dear friends.
