He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude "Shorty" Pegg and Lillian May Candler Pegg; his sister Geraldine Jenkins; his brother-in-law Clifton Norton Sr.; and his granddaughter Brittany Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Pegg; his children, Larry Pegg (Michele) of Honea Path, SC, Megan Pegg of Marshall, MI and Kyle Pegg of Howell, MI; his grandchildren, Samantha Dellapena, Blake Jones and Brandon Jones; his great grandchildren, Henry, Harper, Rayne, Riley, Jonathan and McKenzie; and his siblings, Shirley Norton of Marshall, NC and Johnny Pegg of Gaffney, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Madison Funeral Services (1750 NC-213, Marshall, NC 28753). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
