He is survived by: his wife Margaret Shelton Simpson; his daughters, Lynn Feiman (Bruce) and Janie Simpson (Troye Mathews); and his granddaughters, Courtney Beard (Jordan), E. Whitworth (Brett) and Ginna Miller (Zach). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (9020 Asheville Hwy, Boiling Springs, SC 29316). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to United Methodist Church of the Covenant for Hendrix Elementary Bags which contain food items for children in the local school.
