She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Fort and Janie Hood Fort; her children-in-law, Kenny Morris and Loretta Giggleman; and her siblings, Cora Mae Welch, Dolan Fort and Martin B. "Tooch" Fort.
She is survived by: her daughter Dorothy "Dottie" J. Morris (Tommy C. Giggleman) of Macedonia; and her grandchildren, Hugh Giggleman (Holly), Melanie Bodiford (Scott), Emily Wilson (Daniel) and Marcie Henderson (Colt). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Macedonia Christian Church (2428 N Hwy 17A S, Bonneau, SC 29431). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at the Macedonia Christian Church Cemetery (2428 N Hwy 17A S, Bonneau, SC 29431).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Macedonia Christian Church, 1531 Betsy Hole Rd., Bonneau, SC 29431.
