She was predeceased by: her mother Ethel R. Pitner; and her brothers, Fred Simmons, Jr. and Eric L. Pitner. She is survived by: her husband Charles Wright; her children, Fabien Pitner and Jennifer Wilson-Rehberg; her stepdaughter Sharde Goodwin; her father Raymond L. Pitner; her siblings, Gwendolyn Simmons, Yvonne Waters, Patricia Lloyd, Curtis Simmons, Gerald Simmons, Inez Pitner and Kathyleen Pitner; her aunts, Lillian Porcher and Nancy White; her uncle Robert White; and her siblings-in-law, Sheron Elaine Simmons, Lottie Mae Harris (Albert), Betty Smalls (Danny), Rose Davis, Atty, Lionel Lloyd, Charles Wright and Ervan Waters. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bryan McNeal Sr. Memorial Chapel (4129 Highway 17 North, Awendaw, SC 29429).
