He was predeceased by: his brother Kenneth Abbott. He is survived by: his son Christopher David Ryan Abbott of Macedonia; his sisters, Kay Knowlton (Vince) of St. Stephen and Cathy Thrower of Pinopolis; and his siblings' children, Miranda Whitlock of St. Stephen, Kaylyn Mitchum (Travis) of Moncks Corner, Kenneth Bracewell (Carley) and Jacob Knowlton (Taylor) of St. Stephen.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, 300 W. Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461 to assist with funeral expenses.
