He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel R. Pitner; and his siblings, Fred Simmons, Jr. and Cecelia Ann Wright. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Pitner; his children, Eric, Jr., Ericka, Ashley, Belivia, Breonna and Malayki; his father Raymond L. Pitner; his siblings, Gwendolyn Simmons, Yvonne Waters, Patricia Lloyd, Curtis Simmons, Gerald Simmons, Inez Pitner and Kathyleen Pitner; his aunts, Lillian Porcher and Nancy White; his uncle Robert White; and his siblings-in-law, Sheron Elaine Simmons, Lionel Wright, Charles Wright and Ervan Waters. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bryan McNeal Sr. Memorial Chapel (4129 Highway 17 North, Awendaw, SC 29429).
