He was predeceased by: his sisters, Loris H. Crawford, Verdie Lee H. Sutler and Juanita H. Mills. He is survived by: his siblings, Alice H. Kinlaw (Ed) of Summerville, Sam Hood (Yvonne) of Macedonia and Herbert B. "Bubba" Hood, Jr. of Macedonia; and his close friends, Kelly Abshire of Texas and Johnny. He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews.
