She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Franklin Brakefield and Edna Davis Brakefield Wood; and her siblings, Peggy Brakefield and Bobby Brakefield. She is survived by: her siblings, Brenda Collins, Juanita Parris, Vanessa Clinton (Johnny), Otis Brakefield (Janice) and Randy Brakefield (Cheryl). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bowling Green First Baptist Church.
