He was predeceased by: his parents, Dossie Russell Gaskins and Lillian Parrott Gaskins; and his siblings, Russell, Johnnie, Carolyn, Melissa and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Gaskins; his daughters, Gwen Harbeson (Kannie) and Stella Colson (Ben); his grandchildren, Lonna Hill (Jonathan), Gayla Infinger (Cody), Kyle Colson (Kayla), Heather Stevens (Brock) and Owen Harbeson; his great grandchildren, Jake, Rylan Infinger, Sutton, Weslyn Hill, Kylee, Rhett Colson and KJ Stevens; and his sister Olivia Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prospect Southern Methodist Church or Wounded Warrior Project.
