The memory of Wilhelmina W. Westberry of Bowman, South Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2025 at the age of 100, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Lee "Bub" Wimberly and Zadie Irene Smith Wimberly; her daughter Billie Jean W. Arant; her grandson Jonathan Crook; her siblings, John David Wimberly, Zadie Lee W. Hilton, Frances W. Crook and Sarah W. Crook; and her sons-in-law, Dr. Lynn Crook, Teddy and W. Britt.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, George Lamar Westberry (Suzanne) of Bowman, Elsie Irene W. Crook of Asheville, NC and Nancy Kay W. Britt of Bowman; her son-in-law Michael T. Arant (Sandra) of Eastover; her sister Grace W. Garrick Price of Orangeburg; her sister-in-law Ruby Bair Westberry; and her caregiver Gloria Moye. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 35, great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Prospect Southern Methodist Church (434 Flatwoods Rd, Bowman, SC 29018). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prospect Southern Methodist Church, 344 Flatwoods Road Bowman, SC 29018.
