It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Johnson (Branchville, South Carolina), born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on April 30, 2026, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Esther shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Esther farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Brunson and Emma Jane Brunson; and her husband Love Johnson. She is survived by: her daughter Minnie; and her grandchildren, Priscilla, Queenie, Robert, Amos, Timothy, Tamara and Lorraine. She is also survived by eight great-great grandchildren; one grandson-in-law.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM.
