He was predeceased by: his parents, David Shellie and Alice Summers (McAlhany) of Branchville; and his siblings, Christine Bickley, Maudell Dukes, Cleo, Vernon Summers, Eva Hall (Walter) of Williston, SC, Ruby Hefner (Clifford) of Hickory, NC, Marion "Sheckie" Summers (Melody) of Branchville, James Allen McAlhany (Brenda) of St George, SC and Darlene Buck (Lynn) of Cordova, SC..
He is survived by: his son Brandon; and his grandchildren, Walker Summers of Newport, Tenn, Bransley, Jensen Summers of Branchville, Arianna, Shellie and Landon Elliott of Branchville.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ott Funeral Home (7305 Freedom Rd, Branchville, SC 29432). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Branchville Christian Church (6907 Freedom Rd, Branchville, SC 29432).
