It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daisy Annette Altman of Cades, South Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Daisy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Daisy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Daisy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clinton Altman; her parents, Louie Edward Jennings and Edna McLeod; and her siblings, Betty Jean Griffin, Larry Jennings, Raymond Jennings and Wayne Jennings.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Altman of Scranton, Ricky Altman (Pam) of Lake City and Donald E. Altman (Penny) of Scranton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Lake City, SC 29591). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home Chapel (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Lake City, SC 29591).
