Ernestine Kirby Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on October 16, 2025, at the age of 83, Ernestine Kirby of Cades, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Melvin Allen, Jr. and Mildred Floyd Allen; her brother Ronnie Allen; and her sister-in-law Sandra Dickson. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Joe Kirby of Cades; her children, Melanie Ganes (Jamie) of Cades, Bob Kirby (Shelley) of Lake City and Allen Kirby (Abbie) of New Zion; her grandchildren, Allie Ganes Lee (Alex), Lani Kirby of Joe Tyler, Kirby, Cal Kirby and Caroline Kirby; her great grandchildren, Wesley "Wes" Ganes and Kirby Lee; her brothers, Neil Allen (Bert) and Phil Allen (Bobbie); her sisters-in-law, Carolyn McCutchen and Eliska Allen; and her friend Celia Wilson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
