He was predeceased by: his parents, James Verdell Holladay, Sr. and Willie Mae Wise Holladay; and his son-in-law Jackie Sullivan. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Thigpen Holladay of Hebron Community, Cades; his children, Karen H. Sullivan of Socastee, James V. "Jamie" Holladay, III (Dana) of Lexington and Carol Ann Holladay of Cades; his grandchildren, Ben Sullivan (Lindsey), Faith JoAnn Holladay, Lillian "Lilly" Grace Holladay and Seaver James Holladay; his great grandchild Landon Sullivan; and his siblings, Swintz Holladay (Ruth), Jackie Holladay (Joyce) and Cynthia Atkinson (Donnie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
