She was predeceased by : her husband James R. "Jim" Pierce; her parents, Arthur White Driggers and Mary Jane Godwin Driggers; her son James "Jimmy" Pierce; her son-in-law Roger McElveen; her grandson Jay McElveen; and her siblings, Annie Mae Sims, Mary Wilson, Joe Driggers, Ernest "Billy" Driggers, Luther Driggers, James Driggers and Willie Driggers.

She is survived by : her daughter Nancy Pierce McElveen of Cades; her daughter-in-law Dianne Pierce of Cades; her grandchildren, Jamie McElveen (Shonda) of Cades, Sherry Morris (Darryl) of Johnsonville, Randy Pierce of Lake City and Steven Pierce (Darla) of Cades; her great grandchildren, Nathan McElveen, Kaleigh McElveen, Pierce Morris, Bradford Pierce and William Pierce; and her children, Joy Carsten Strong of Cades, Kate Carsten Thornberry of Columbia, Allen Carsten of Cades and Matthew Coward of Cades. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
