He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd F. Baker and Clytie Baker; his wife Nell Green Baker; and his siblings, Curtis Baker and Winifred Crawford.

He is survived by : his children, Andy Baker (Wanda) of Cades, Lloyd Baker (Danielle) of Lake City, Vickie Poston (Scott) of Scranton and Pam Coker (Stan) of Woodlawn, TN; his grandchildren, Stacey Lightfoot (Jimmy), Mandi Morgan (Neil), Brantley Baker (Erin), Hope Lane (Lonnie), Ashley Brummitt (John), Ana Batts (Craig), Adam Coker, Amanda Caprarola (Mike), Evan Baker, Jillian Poston and John Scott Poston; and his close friend Mary Von Baker. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
