She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Bentley and Mattie Bell Cannon Bentley; and her brother James Jackson Bentley. She is survived by: her husband John David; her son John Eric Smith; her stepdaughter Krista Sammons (Ken); her granddaughter April Nicole Bowen (John); and her great grandchild Rivers Bowen.
