He was predeceased by : his parents, William "Buddy" Reynolds Denton, Jr. and Miriam Pickell Denton Anderson; and his brother Bill Denton. He is survived by : his wife Sue Webb Denton; his children, Karen D. Tucker (Darrell) of Lugoff, SC and Scott R. Denton of Camden; his brother Joe Denton; his grandchildren, Denton Strayer, Riley Strayer, Reese Tucker, Logan Denton, Caleigh Denton and Campbell Denton; and his great grandchild Kannen Sims. He is also survived by several nephews and one niece.
